Catholic Education

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
                                                                                                                            Proverbs 22:6

Summer 2017

Dear Parishioner Families,

Our communities and world need leaders with a foundation in their faith and strong moral values. That's the
aim of Catholic education at St. Camillus Catholic Academy.

In a nurturing learning environment, based in Christ's teachings, students find a challenging academic program
and an enriching student experience. We invite all parish families to get to know more about our school, our
programs, and our dynamic community.

At St. Camillus Catholic Academy each child grows in meaningful ways, learning that they are part of
something much greater than themselves and feeling empowered to reach for their highest potential.
When our students go on to high school, they not only succeed academically, they also are viewed as
compassionate, intellectually strong, faith-filled leaders.

We recognize that the cost of choosing a Catholic education for your children may be a barrier to realizing all
the benefits. Our parish is committed to working with all interested families to make tuition at St. Camillus
Catholic Academy financially possible. Each year, we assist many of our parish families with need based
scholarship support. Father Ahlemeyer can be reached at 718.634.8229 to discuss the scholarship process.

Expand your experience with St. Camillus Catholic Academy by taking a tour and learning what we offer.
Meet the dedicated faculty and familiarize yourself with the challenging academic programs and the learning
experiences for the whole child.

To arrange a personal tour of the Academy, please contact Principal Sheila Smith Gonzalez at 718.634.5260.
We look forward to welcoming you to our campus and getting to know your family better. In the meantime,
please learn more about the St. Camillus Catholic Academy experience at

                                               Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Rev . Richard J. Ahlemeyer                         Principal Sheila Smith Gonzalez

Website Sponsorships Available!

  • In the weeks ahead, our parish representative from Solutio, Inc., will be setting up the advertising for our website for the year.
  • Please consider participating in this effort since the revenue from the ads is what makes the website possible at no cost to the parish.
  • It’s a great way to get your name in front of the families in the parish.  Advertisements may be purchased for a business, family memorial, or you can sponsor an ad supporting Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, Vocations, etc.
  • Please give these ideas some thought. We need and appreciate your help!  If you are interested or just curious as to prices and want more information, please contact 718.414.6651 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
